Best Western Plus Westgate Inn & Suites

One of the best hotel experiences we've had. Super friendly staff at the front desk as soon as we arrived, they even offered some food samples from their bar. The coffee machine in the lobby is very cool, definitely check it out if you're there. We stayed in a pet friendly room, and it was clean, like a 8.5 out of 10 with no lingering odors from previous people. I don't think anyone expects 5 star cuisine from a hotel breakfast, but theirs is great for what it is with a large variety to choose from. Pool area was clean and towels were always stocked. Another person staying there informed me their pool and hot tub are salt water, which is another plus. Great location for a vacation, it's out of the way but still close to lots of great historical and tourist areas.

Great customer service and good breakfast service! Well appointed lobby and rooms. Lounge does themed nights and has hot food. This is what hoteliers should be doing to attract customers, they did everything to make sure we were welcomed and valued as guests. I would love to stay here again!

We had a very nice stay at this Best West location. The staff were kind, patient, and helpful when I was having some hiccups making a reservation, and for the whole duration of our stay. The room was clean as was the rest of the building. There is an outdoor pool, nice fitness room, and laundry machines (coin operated). The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options and the staff were constantly bringing out fresh food. The location is nice, you can easily drive to Wilmington and the surrounding beaches. Finally, there are different events hosted every night like bingo, karaoke, and board games. I’ve never seen a more lively lobby! Incredible hotel all around. If we ever return to the area, this will be the spot we stay!

This is by far the nicest Best Western I have ever been too! My room was maculate and very clean. The staff was first class! Corey and Jennifer were very helpful. They serve the real eggs at breakfast and common areas were very welcoming. The pool area was another great feature which includes a hot tub. The gym has everything you need to stay active while away from home. I will defiantly be staying there again!

Right off the main highway, clean, fresh smelling, open layout makes it welcoming, along with a public fireplace. Our room was spacious, clean and also smelled fresh. Plenty of towels, big TV, ample room for the suitcases. Only dong was the bed which felt stiff and springy at the same time. Shower was perfect, as was the AC. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel and would highly recommend! From the moment we first arrived we were impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the building and grounds. We were greeted by a very professional and accommodating individual at check-in. She answered all our questions before we had a chance to ask! Very polite individual. As much as we were impressed with our accommodations, it was the staff that really made our stay memorable. We were traveling with our Down Syndrome daughter, celebrating her birthday. Everyone treated her as special as she is! They went above and beyond to make her day special, even slipping a birthday card under our door in the middle of the night! She loved it! We just don't have the words to express our gratitude for all they did. Wonderful people and a wonderful place to stay!

Comfy, quiet,clean rooms. Excellent free breakfast with great hot and cold selection. Friendly staff. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Restaurants, shopping ,gas and easy access to major highways. Historic Wilmington 15 mins away. Handicap accessability parking/ rooms and pool! We'll stay here again!!

Nice hotel, but I’ve been to plenty of those. What really stood out here was the staff — the friendliest I’ve ever encountered! I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country, and this place easily has the most attentive team, from the front desk to the maintenance crew (who you wouldn’t even expect to care that much!). I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in town
